October's full Harvest Moon tonight will be extra special!  It's a SUPERMOON, and the largest and brightest supermoon of the year. Generally speaking, a supermoon is a full Moon that appears larger than a typical full Moon because it is closer to Earth. The full Harvest Moon reaches peak illumination at 11:47 P.M. ET and will look HUGE if you're awake to see it!
